The first fruit seems to me a very young apple , not yet prepared for the sin. The red outside has to get inside to ripen it...;-) I'm jocking! At the same time it reminds me the portuguese flag, with the green of Hope and the Red of blood, a country with wonderful fruits which is not able to mature itself. This is a fresh beautiful painting! I love the colours of the 2nd painting, and the 3rd one got me mistaken at first look; I thought they were figs at first sight (maybe because I love figs), but they are wonderful pears, the fruit my mother liked so much. I really like your series and I keep looking at them. I would like to thank you for your comments. I know it must be awful to comment something you don´t understand. At least you communicate in the universal language of painting, and that's makes it so much easier to me. Have a beautiful weekend, Willy. xx
